Wild Lives

Educate - Inspire - Coexist

Who We Are

Wild Lives is a Colorado local 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We are dedicated to teaching Coloradans about our native wildlife and how to best coexist with them. Though Wild Lives was founded in 2020, it has been the life long dream of our Founder, Michelle, to open a wildlife rehabilitation center and to teach others about the animals we share our world with. Currently, Wild Lives focuses on educational programs, but we are in the process of building a rehabilitation center in Fremont County.

What We Do

It is the Mission of Wild Lives to:

Educate the public about Colorado's 960 different wild animal species and the importance of their conservation; and to encourage the public to adopt habits that support coexisting with wildlife.

We offer off site educational programs for all ages, from pre-k to 99 and over! We have a large collection of skulls, pelts, track sets, and more that can be brought to you in order to give hands on experiences and provide learning. At this time we have a limited number of ambassador animals that we are happy to bring to you. They include several reptiles and amphibians and a wolfdog mix. Not all animals may meet your needs, but we will try to accommodate as best as possible. Our programs can be tailored to meet your needs.

One of our main goals is to provide knowledge on coexistence with our wild neighbors. Whether this is how to keep raccoons out of the attic or how to curb livestock losses from large carnivores. We aim to see a world where people and wildlife exist harmoniously in the areas they overlap.

Future Goals

One of our main goals is to open a wildlife rehabilitation center. With the funds that we raise through our educational programs we aim to create a wildlife rehabilitation facility where injured and orphaned wildlife can be brought and receive specialized care so that they may again live in the wild.
